Tracking is well underway for the fifth studio album from progressive groove metallers Dååth. Earlier this year, the band returned with a new label home in Metal Blade Records. The outfit went on to debut their first new single in a decade, “No Rest No End“. They’ve since followed it up with a several other tracks, including a new single and covers of Death and Morbid Angel.
While there’s no firm word yet on when the group’s follow-up to their eponymous 2010 album will emerge, drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner entered Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden last week to begin tracking the drum parts with producer Jens Bogren (Sepultura, Opeth). An update shared yesterday, August 13th, reveals that the band have since wrapped up tracking the majority of the guitar parts for the album.
