Last night, August 04th, saw returning nü-metal/alternative metal outfit Taproot return to the stage for their first live show since December of 2017. The band kicked off their reunion tour at the Crafthouse Stage & Grill in Pittsburgh, PA, delivering a 15-song performance that featured the live debuts of “VIP” and “Favorite Song“.

Fan-filmed footage from the night can be viewed below. The group’s return to the road is leading up to the September 29th release of their seventh studio album, “SC\SSRS“. Vocalist/guitarist Stephen Richards was the primary individual behind the creation and recording of that outing.
Joining Richards for this new round of shows are returning bassist Phil Limscomb and drummer Jarrod Montague. Guitarist Taylor Roberts has been serving as the band’s lead live guitarist, while Dave Coughlin (Sponge) will be behind the drum kit for select shows.
