The Acacia Strain Postpone Australian Tour To January In A Bid To Solidify Their Next Drummer

The Acacia Strain have announced the postponement of their upcoming Australian tour due to the recent departure of their drummer Kevin Boutot. In light of the personnel change, the metalcore group have now moved that tour to January of 2024, with Dying Wish and Volatile Ways still set to appear as support.

A statement shared by The Acacia Strain on the matter today, July 31st, reads as follows:

“As many of you are likely already aware, our recent Canadian tour was the last tour for our long time friend and drummer Kevin Boutot.

We wish him and his family well, and thank him for his many years with the band. The unexpected change has caused us to need to move this tour around through. In an effort to make sure that we have a new drummer solidified before we play this AU tour.

We have had to move it to January of 2024.
The good news is that the lineup remains the same, so Dying Wish and Volatile Ways will still be joining us for the tour.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you in January.
