Thy Art Is Murder Release “Decade Of Hate: Live In Melbourne 2023”

Australian deathcore bruisers Thy Art Is Murder have given a proper digital release to their ‘Decade Of Hate‘ live set, which took place at the Forum in Melbourne, AUS on January 14th of 2023. That show took place as part of a 10th anniversary celebration for the band’s 2012 sophomore album, “Hate“.

The group released live video of the entire set, which mixed and mastered by Will Putney (Body Count, Every Time I Die), earlier this year. Now that performance has made its way to digital service providers, with CD and vinyl pressings due out on November 17th.

Guitarist Andrew Marsh said at the time of the set’s original release:

“When we set out to record our record Hate all those years ago, none of us could anticipate the ride of a lifetime we were about to embark upon. So it seemed fitting that when we announced this recent Decade Of Hate tour, we were again uncertain about what the shows would hold in store. They turned out to be the biggest of our career.

Throughout this wild journey, it was only through the undying support of our friends and fans across the world that we were able to traverse these monolithic milestones and for that we are forever grateful. To have a dream is one thing, but to live it is something truly special and you have given that privilege to us.

In the last 10 years, we attempted to cover as much ground on tour as possible, but this last anniversary tour was rather brief as we prepare for our new record. With the help of our incredible crew we are proud to give you Hate in full, the way we imagined we might one day be able to one day present the songs…”

Pre-orders for the physical release of the performance, which has been dubbed “Decade Of Hate: Live In Melbourne 2023“, can be found at taim.bfan.link/decade-of-hate. A new studio album from the group titled “Godlike” is presently set for a September 15th release.
