Voivod released their 40th anniversary album “Morgöth Tales” today, July 21st. That effort serves as a compilation of newly re-recorded versions of various tracks taken from all eras of the Canadian sci-metal outfit’s lengthy career. The title track is an all new offering and a music video for it has just arrived in tandem with the album.
Drummer Michael “Away” Langevin said of that song in particular:
“The title track is a new song, which we started writing in the tour bus and hotels during the Opeth European tour in November/December 2022. It has the vibe of the experimental music we are doing nowadays, with a new twist I think.”
