False Fed‘s debut album “Let Them Eat Fake will be arriving on October 13th through Neurot Recordings. The outfit are comprised of some familiar faces, with a lineup that includes:
Vocals: Jeff “JJ” Janiak (Discharge, Broken Bones)
Guitar: Stig.C.Miller (Amebix, Zygote)
Bass: JP Parsons
Drums: Roy Mayorga (Ministry, Stone Sour, etc.)
“Echoes Of Compromise” is the lead single from that record and a video for it has been shared below. Janiak said of the project, “Musically, this album touched on something dark and different.” Speaking of this new song and it’s pandemic era roots, he added:
“My grandmother died back in America, and I was unable to go to her funeral which was really horrible, so that whole period had a lot of doom and gloom for me on a personal level as I’m sure it did for most people. I’m really grateful that we had this project to keep us all busy and take our minds off the grim reality.”
Mayorga oversaw the mixing duties for the self-produced album. You can pre-order that effort via neurotrecordings.ffm.to/let_them_eat_fake.
