Drummer Josh Miller has announced that he has stepped down from Spite in order to focus on his Darko project alongside Chelsea Grin vocalist Tom Barber. Miller, who previously played in Emmure, joined up with Spite back in August of 2021.
Speaking via social media yesterday, June 23rd, he commented:
“i’ve been getting a lot of messages the past few days so i just want to address it here so there’s no confusion. i am no longer playing drums in spite. my time with the band was nothing but amazing. so greatful for the time i got to spend with these guys. moving forward i would to put more time into @darkoband. with how much i’ve been touring the past year i haven’t been able to put as much time as i would into darko and now that i am back at home i can really focus. thanks for all the support and everyone i got to meet during my time in spite. new darko album is coming 😬”
