Cavalera Release Their Re-Recorded Version Of Sepultura’s “Bestial Devastation”

The Cavalera brothers have peeled off another track from their upcoming revisiting of Sepultura‘s first EP, 1985’s “Bestial Devastation” and its 1986 full-length follow-up, “Morbid Visions“. The newly re-recorded version of the title track to “Bestial Devastation” is the latest to be served up from that pair of releases, both of which will be out on July 14th.

Both Max and Iggor Cavalera of course co-founded Sepultura in the mid-80s before eventually leaving the band. The brotherly duo re-recorded these outings at The Platinum Underground, taking on the production duties themselves alongside engineer John Aquilino. Arthur Rizk (Soulfly, Code Orange) was brought in to mix and master the releases.

The Cavalera‘s will be out touring on these records this summer as part of the ‘Morbid Devastation Tour‘. Max‘s son Igor Amadeus Cavalera (Healing Magic, Go Ahead And Die) will be taking on the bass duties, while Travis Stone (Pig Destroyer, Desolus) will be on lead guitars.
