Long Island melodic hardcore band Koyo will be dropping their debut album “Would You Miss It?” via Pure Noise Records on September 29th. Several guest appearances have been lined up for the effort, which was produced by Jon Markson (Drug Church, One Step Closer).
Among them are Long Island scene vets Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw, Head Automatica) on “Message Like A Bomb” and Vinnie Caruana on “What’s Left To Say“. Anthony DiDio of Vein.FM/Fleshwater guests on “Flatline Afternoon“.
Koyo vocalist Joseph Chiaramonte commented:
“We really slow-cooked this record. There are songs on it that go back as far as being written just after Painting Words Into Lines came out. Even as we were writing for Drives Out East, we knew certain songs had to be allocated for certain things. We’d just keep them in the bank and develop them over time.”
