Chimaira Rejoined By Original Guitarist Jason Hager And More During Rarities-Filled Second Reunion Show

The second of Chimaira‘s back to back reunion shows at the Agora in Cleveland, OH this past weekend saw the group partake in a few surprises. The groove metal outfit returned to the stage for their first live shows since 2017, this time celebrating the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album “The Impossibility Of Reason“.

During the second show, programmer/vocalist Sean Zatorsky, who performed in the final active era of the band, sat in during “Pure Hatred” and “The Dehumanizing Process“. Meanwhile, the band’s bonus set saw numerous tracks dusted off for the first time in numerous years, and in some cases, decades. There was also the band’s first-ever live performance of their 2007 offering “End It All“.

Furthermore, the group’s original guitarist Jason Hager sat in for a trio of songs during the bonus set, which ran as follows:

Everything You Love” (first time since 2013)
Secrets Of The Dead” (frist time since 2014)
This Present Darkness” (feat. Jason Hager) (first time since 2005)
