Greg Puciato keeps a busy slate these days, focusing his efforts on his solo career, while also serving as a touring member of Alice In Chains vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell‘s backing band. On top of that, he’s preparing to hit the road for the first time with his recently debuted supergroup Better Lovers. That endeavor finds the former voice of The Dillinger Escape Plan teamed up with ex-members of Every Time I Die along with Fit For An Autopsy guitarist Will Putney.
Still, amid all that, Puciato has found time to continue work on new material from his synthwave project The Black Queen. Puciato formed that group with Joshua Eustis and Steven Alexander back in 2015, with the band’s latest release, “Infinite Games“, having arrived back in 2018.
Speaking yesterday, May 09th, The Black Queen revealed that work continues on their third full-length album, while simultaneously teasing “a very interesting development” to come. Here’s what was stated:
“So work on LP3 just hit a very VERY interesting development. 🤐 You’ll see. Extremely excited. This band is special to us and so we’ve been moving slowly so as not to force-create when the vibe isn’t right…we have to be really careful with it…but this “development” just really set things into high speed. Exactly what was needed. Again, you’ll see.
In the meantime go check this tour out if you’re in North America. It might be a touch extreme depending on how you got here…but get out there.”
