Vintersea Debut “Into The Horizon” Music Video

Ahead of this Friday’s (May 05th) release of their new album “Woven Into Ashes“, Vintersea have debuted a music video for their track “Into The Horizon“. The band’s own Karl Whinnery once again directed this latest visual accompaniment.

Speaking on the track, guitarist Riley Nix offered:

“Focusing on the atmospheric beauty and haunting melodies that typically pervade our heavier music, ‘Into The Horizon‘ is the most introspective and contemplative song from ‘Woven Into Ashes‘. This song is something very different for Vintersea, and is a deeply personal reflection. We hope that it gives you the same chills it gives us every time we play it.”

The band’s vocalist Avienne Low offered:

“‘Into The Horizon‘ is the song I’ve always wanted to write and have in our repertoire. It is unlike any other Vintersea release because it hones in on the soft and shimmery aspect of melancholy in music. It is also one of the more personal tracks I’ve written lyrically because it became a letter that I would write to humanity once I’m no longer on earth.

In a way, all the tracks that we have written serve as letters and will live on past our temporary existence, but this song really strips everything down to the vulnerability one feels with mortality. I’ve teared up and cried writing and performing this song, and I hope our listeners tune in on the song’s emotiveness!”
