Rob Zombie has partnered with Waxwork Records for a personally curated series of new vinyl pressings of horror movie scores and soundtracks. Among those he plans to release is a pressing of the score to a film near and dear to his heart: the 1932 Bela Lugosi flick ‘White Zombie‘. Zombie‘s multi-platinum 90s industrial alternative metal band took their name from that film. You can pick up this first entry in the series here.
Zombie commented of this new partnership:
“I have always been a huge fan of movie soundtracks, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with Waxwork on this project. I can’t wait to release these albums. So many of these films are greatly underappreciated and they all contain such great music. So to be able to release these deluxe packages is a dream come true.”
