Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has officially signed with BMG. Taylor has created a new label imprint of his own, Decibel Cooper, through that label, with intentions to issue his sophomore solo album “CMF2” through it later in the year.

Taylor commented of the new arrangement:

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with BMG. I haven’t felt this driven and determined since I first started out in ‘99. BMG is the new bastion of Rock and Metal, and with them ready to go, I can tell you we’re heading for big things. Thank you BMG!”

Recording sessions for “CMF2” concluded earlier this year under producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Avatar). Taylor previously indicated he is eyeing a September release for the album.
