A recent appearance on Triple J saw indie pop artist King Princess tackle Soundgarden‘s 1994 hit single “Black Hole Sun“. The below cover came about as part of Triple J‘s long-running ‘Like A Version’ series. You can watch that performance below, along with a look behind the scenes at how the cover came together.

In the latter video, King Princess reveals that her parents saw the band during the 1992 ‘Lollapalooza‘ concert, revealing that this track was a song that she had listened to since she was “a little kid.”
