Wednesday 13 Set For Murderdolls 21st Anniversary Tribute Tour This Fall With Gemini Syndrome, Infected Rain & Black Satellite

Wednesday 13 will be celebrating the works the 21st anniversary of his former band the Murderdolls on the road this fall. That defunct horror punk outfit was formed by Wednesday 13 and late Slipknot, etc. drummer Joey Jordison.

This forthcoming trek will see Wednesday 13 and his backing band, which includes ex-Murderdolls members Roman Surman (guitars) and Jack Tankersley (bass), performing tracks from Murderdolls‘ two studio albums.

If you’re unaware, a bitter dispute over the Murderdolls trademarks unfolded last year, spurred by the band’s guitarist Acey Slade gaining rights to the band’s trademark after it had lapsed.

Speaking of this newly revealed trek, Wednesday 13 offered:

“After 21 years since its release, and the recent sad and premature passing of Joey, it only feels right to go out and celebrate these songs. We made two amazing albums that I was very proud of, and unfortunately much of the world didn’t get a chance to hear the songs live.

In 2018, we all got together at Joey’s house and discussed plans and possibilities for the future, but we both had other immediate plans. We will be performing tracks from both Murderdolls albums on this upcoming tour and celebrating the legacy of the band.”
