Linkin Park’s “Meteora” Re-Enters The Top Ten Of The Billboard 200

Over 20 years since it’s initial release, Linkin Park‘s 7x multi-platinum sophomore album “Meteora” has re-entered the top ten of the Billboard Top 200. Buoyed by the April 07th 20th anniversary re-release of that album, which was expanded to a sprawling 89 songs, that record has officially returned to the aforementioned chart at #8.

Upon its original 2003 release, “Meteora” debuted atop the Billboard 200, moving a staggering 810,400 copies amid its first week of availability. It’s return the top ten was fueled by the 38,500 equivalent album units shifted of the deluxe edition of the record.

According to Billboard, 19,500 of that sum was attributed to album sales, while streaming equivalent album units made up for 17,000. That latter sum is equal to roughly 23.65 million streams of songs from the album. Track equivalent album units made up for the final 2,000.
