System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian has enlisted Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis for an upcoming guest appearance. Davis will be lending his voice to a new track from Odadjian‘s forthcoming new solo album, which he has been working on with Winds Of Plague guitarist Michael Montoya, also known as producer MorgothBeatz.
A recent interview with ‘Radioactive With Mike Z‘ found Odadjian publicly revealing that collaboration, offering:
“We have a track with — I’m gonna say it — Jonathan Davis. ]I’m working on that one right now. We have the choruses and the first verse, and I’m gonna do a little breakdown, and I think we’ve got one. That’s 12 — number 12. So we’re 12 songs into the solo record. I’m very excited about that.”
Odadjian hopes to have the record out either late this year or early next year. He also plans to tour on it.
