Limp Bizkit returned to the stage today, March 30th, for their first live show since May of last year. The multi-platinum outfit did plan to play more shows last year, but wound up postponing their plans as singer Fred Durst was experiencing a medical issue at the time. Now cleared, the infamous nü-metal outfit have made good on their word, heading overseas to make up for their postponed European/UK trek. That run kicked off at Zenith in Munich, Germany with a 24 song set.
In addition to giving a live debut to the song “Barnacle” from their 2021 comeback album “Still Sucks“, they were also joined by Wargasm‘s Sam Matlock for a performance of “Take A Look Around“.
The setlist for the concert, which included several partial song performances and covers, ran as follows:
“Out Of Style”
“Pill Popper”
“Dirty Rotten Bizkit”
“Barnacle”
“Hot Dog”
“Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)”
“I’m Broke”
“Counterfeit”
“Pollution”
“Gold Cobra”
“My Generation”
“Livin’ It Up”
“My Way”
“Nookie”
“Full Nelson”
“Re-Arranged”
“Boiler”
“Take A Look Around” (feat. Sam Matlock)
“Behind Blue Eyes” (The Who cover)
“Don’t Change” (INXS cover)
“Dad Vibes”
“Eat You Alive”
“Faith” (George Michael cover)
“Break Stuff”
Taking a cue from the ever-evolving appearance of guitarist Wes Borland, Durst himself has once again updated his look for this trek. Borland opted for a partially armored approach, complete with a cauldron an face plate. Durst meanwhile appears to be going for a cross between Atlantic fisherman and country bumpkin.
