Taproot‘s return to active duty this year has expanded with even more shows. The nü-metal turned alternative metal group will be back with their first album in over a decade, “SC\SSRS“, on September 29th. That effort was spearheaded by frontman/guitarist Stephen Richards, and will be preceded by the rarities compilation “Best Of Besides” on April 30th (September 30th on vinyl.)
Newly added to the band’s schedule is a headlining appearance at the ‘Northwoods Rock Rally‘, which will take place in Glen Flora, WI. That festival will also feature sets from Pop Evil, Royal Bliss, SOiL, Otherwise and many more (see below.) Taproot have also announced an October 20th date in Columbus, OH and an October 06th show in Belvidere, IL.
