Returning nü-metal turned alternative metal outfit Taproot have announced a third headlining show at The Machine Shop in Flint, MI. The previous two dates the band recently revealed at that venue quickly sold out, leading to this additional show. Those performances will mark the band’s first club shows in some six years. This new date will be held on October 01st.
Additionally, Taproot have announced another pair of club dates, see below for the schedule. The group will be out touring on their first new album in over a decade: “SC\SSRS“. A September 29th release date has been scheduled for that outing, which will be preceded by the rarities compilation “Best Of Besides” on April 30th (September 30th on vinyl.)
Vocalist/guitarist Stephen Richards, bassist Phil Lipscomb and drummer Jarrod Montague will be back onstage for the bulk of those shows. Guitarist Taylor Roberts will round out the live lineup. Drummer Dave Coughlin (Sponge) will sit in for Montague at dates Montague is unable to participate in.
