Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke and Monuments frontman Andy Cizek butted heads on social media today, March 09th. The situation appears to have indirectly flared up over an apparently resurfaced allegation of physical abuse leveled against Radke.
Earlier this week, a woman came forward online against Radke, alleging he previously choked her some 8 years prior. You can see that initial accusation and Radke‘s responses to his accuser below:
.@BriiMonster this will cost you, you disgusting pig. You think you can say shit that ain’t true I will ruin your fucking life. Just wait bitch pic.twitter.com/AudDxgTqtc

Cizek weighed in in response to the woman in question:
uh holy shit… the answer is yes@RonnieRadke ? https://t.co/CIJtCvXQeL

I am not interested in starting a war, however this is a very serious accusation and goes well beyond just “acting like an asshole.”
Those of us in the music world have a responsibility to hold others accountable if their behavior is dangerous.

Radke snapped back at Cizek:
I’d watch your fucking mouth before your ass gets involved in something you can’t get of motherfucker. https://t.co/qrNodHJkyD
— RonnieRadke (@RonnieRadke) March 9, 2023
The following conversation then took place:
Wow dude.
I expressed concern about a violent accusation in the hopes that you would address it. Retaliating with a threat is just another violent response and completely unnecessary. https://t.co/4rd1LuL6i2

All good, no stress. I am not here to pass judgment on who is touring with who, either. I have love and respect for my fellow bands & artists. Just hoping for less violence/discrimination in the music scene ????

No you’re pandering, jumping on the bandwagon. I’m so sick and tired of being attacked and accused of things by y’all. Imagine being constantly misunderstood and accused and ridiculed. shut the fuck up https://t.co/MPAz30gZD7

Alright bro. How many times and by how many people can one be “falsely accused” of abuse before the likelihood of it being true is apparent?
I can’t count the number of times you’ve been reported to be a danger to others in this community. You’re like the Bill Cosby of alt music https://t.co/geysTsjsUt

I will not be intimidated by bullies in the music industry. Our complicity is a big reason why horrible things continue to happen. I am sick of it. I don’t care who doesn’t like it. This is who I am. This is our space and we have a responsibility to protect it and be better.
— Andy Cizek (@andycizek) March 10, 2023
Radke added:
dudes in bands I never heard of talking shit about me,
Dudes in bands I grew up listening to fully supporting me.
Cope

Outside of this latest incident and allegation in question, Radke has been a hot topic amid the metalcore scene this week. As reported yesterday, a vocal contingent of fans of Ice Nine Kills, Underoath and Spiritbox have been calling out the bands for their decision to take part in Falling In Reverse‘s summer headlining tour.
They have cited past allegations and actions leveled against Radke and Crown The Empire (who are also on a leg of the tour) as the reasoning for their disapproval of Underoath and Spiritbox taking part in the trek. You can read more on that here.
The uproar has led to various discussions among the metalcore scene this week about the politics of touring and who has final say in choosing which bands they tour with. Radke himself seemingly referenced that situation and the uproar on social media with the following tweet:
40,000 presale tickets in less than 2 days. WHO IS MAD AGAIN? point them out LMAO
