Thrash metal legends Metallica have been either taking in the advantages of duetting via TikTok to invite some fan participation, or they are leading up to a tease of their next official single. Over the weekend, the band’s drummer Lars Ulrich started off a series of ongoing videos with his solo drum track.
Bassist Rob Trujillo was the first to ‘officially’ duet, leaning in with the low-end duties. Now, guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield has followed suit, providing a rhythm guitar track.
It’s a safe bet that lead guitarist Kirk Hammett will be next to ‘officially’ take part in the series. As it stands, you can see what the aforementioned trio have been served up below. The band’s eleventh studio album “72 Seasons” is presently headed for an April 14th release date.
