Last night (February 17th) saw an unruly member of the audience at Architects‘ show at the AEC Theatre In Adelaide, Australia rush the stage and verbally berate the band. The individual is said to have jumped on stage roughly three songs into their set and was apparently angry at the band for not playing enough of their older material.
According to frontman Sam Carter, the individual managed to get ahold of guitarist/vocalist Josh Middleton‘s mic and berate him. He also apparently told Carter that he and the band had been disgracing the memory of their late guitarist Tom Searle in not playing their older material.
After said fan was escorted away and presumably out of the venue, Carter addressed the audience. Wall Of Sound shared the below fan-filmed footage that:
Carter later added some more clarity via social media:
Anyway we go again and keep rocking! See you tonight Melbourne. Love you all ??

Notably Architects have been embarking on this Australian tour without their drummer, and brother of Tom, Dan Searle. Dan stated of that overnight:
Once it became apparent that I couldn’t do the tour I immediately contacted Troy Wright, one of the best drummers in Australia and I’m delighted that the band have an absolute shredder in my place. @TroyWrightDrums thank you ????
