Multi-platinum nü-metal stars Limp Bizkit were aiming to achieve world peace with their newly debuted music video for their track “Out Of Style“. The clip, which was co-directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and Marc Klasfeld, debuted online today (February 08th) and enlists the personas on numerous world leaders and a Hollywood A-lister via deepfake technology.
When asked about the concept of the video, Durst and Klasfeld opted for the Jimi Hendrix quote, “when the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”
In other news, Limp Bizkit are preparing a physical release of “Still Sucks” in two separate configurations. There will be a limited-edition, numbered gold disc CD edition of the effort, and a more standard silver disc CD edition. Both versions are expected out on March 17th and will feature an unspecified bonus track. You can pre-order that here.
