There’s a new music video for Lions At The Gate‘s single “The Ledge” to be seen online. Sean Reichenberger filmed the footage for that amid the band’s 2022 touring, while Vicente Cordero (Cradle Of Filth, Suicide Silence) took on the editing duties.
Lions At The Gate boast a lineup that includes ex-Ill Niño members Cristian Machado (vocals), Ahrue “Luster” Ilustre (guitar) and Diego Verduzco (guitar). Bassist Stephen Brewer (Westfield Massacre) and drummer Fern Lemus.
Speaking of this latest offering, Machado offered:
“‘The Ledge‘ is a very different dynamic than any other single we’ve put out so far. It’s a simple song focused on powerful melody and I hope people can personally interpret it after viewing it through their own heart’s lens.
There is a voice of reason within it, to be strong through all the challenges in life. A voice that says faith is stronger than fear. The person I am becoming is shedding the skin of old and the new me will not bow down to fear.”
A new full-length from the album is in the works with producer Kile Odell (Bloodjinn, Failure Anthem) back behind the boards. The group will also be playing a show at The Whisky this Friday, January 27th with Breaking In A Sequence, Mugg and more opening.
