Technical death metal outfit Archspire have set out to create what they hope will be ‘the craziest death metal music video ever’. As they describe below, various cutting edge forms of technology have been employed for that new video, which is already in production.
Given the current state of the music industry though, the group looked to the public at large to help finance that video via Kickstarter. As it turns out, their fans came out in droves, with the $20,000 CAD goal having already been doubled.
The fully scripted video will feature elaborate special effects, with a full rundown of their plans for it available at this location. Archspire have had some brushes with Hollywood (or Hollywood North) in the past, having worked with actor Jason Momoa on ‘See‘.
