Vitriol Welcome New Drummer Matt Kilner

Vitriol have officially welcomed drummer Matt Kilner (Gorgasm, etc.) to their ranks. A statement shared yesterday by the Portland, OR-based death metal outfit reads as follows:

“Those of you who caught us on our most recent tour in support of Exhumed might’ve noticed another new face behind the blast helm. We are very happy to announce that Matt Kilner (@nithing.bdm [also known from Gorgasm, Iniquitous Deeds, and Nithing]) will be handling full-time drum duties for Vitriol moving forward.

Many of you have asked what has happened to Scott Walker, our previous full-time drummer that is featured on our Pain EP and debut full-length. Scott‘s talent and company has been missed, but sadly, his work and lifestyle never permitted him to tour.

We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to rehearse and perform with several incredibly talented session drummers over the last three years, but we’re very pleased to have a new rock-solid foundation to continue building upon. You can catch the four of us again this April on our upcoming tour with Morbid Angel, Revocation, and Crypta. See you out there!”
