The fourth installment in the 2023 edition of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, ex-Nirvana, etc.) and Greg Kurstin‘s (The Bird And The Bee) ‘Hanukkah Sessions’ has landed online. This time around Grohl kept it in the family, with his teenage daughter Violet Grohl once again sharing the stage with him.
Janis Ian‘s 1975 song “At Seventeen” was covered for this latest entry in the annual series. Grohl and co. commented of this take:
“Born Janis Eddy Fink, a 23-year-old Janis Ian wrote one of the all time classic coming of age anthems “At Seventeen”—here it is as interpreted by Violet Grohl.”
