Guns N’ Roses Release New Version Of “November Rain” Featuring 50-Piece Orchestra

Hard rock legends Guns N’ Roses have released a new orchestral version of their classic 1991 track “November Rain“. An enduring favorite for the band’s fans, that track became the storied group’s second to enter the 1 billion views club on YouTube, trailing only behind their signature song, “Sweet Child O’ Mine“.

For this newly expanded version of the song, the band had Christopher Lennertz conduct a real 50-piece orchestra to add a new dimension. Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, etc. fame handled the new mix of it.

This version of the hit single will appear on Guns N’ Roses‘ forthcoming box set comprised of their 1991 albums, “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II“, due out November 11th. You can find more details regarding that here.
