Lamb Of God Announce First-Ever ‘Headbangers Boat’ Cruise With Mastodon, Hatebreed, GWAR, Shadows Fall & More

The lineup has been announced for Lamb Of God‘s first-ever ‘Headbangers Boat‘ cruise. That floating festival of sorts will set sail from Miami, FL on October 31st and run through to November 04th, making its way to Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl.

The aforementioned Richmond, VA groove metal juggernauts will be playing two special headlining sets aboard the cruise, including a full album performance of 2004’s “Ashes Of The Wake“. While further lineup announcements are pending, the following artists have been confirmed thus far:

Lamb Of God (including “Ashes Of The Wake” set)
Shadows Fall
God Forbid
Fit For An Autopsy
Mark Morton
(Lamb Of God guitarist’s solo band)

Special guests hosts include Jose Mangin, Riki Rachtman and Jamey Jasta.

Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe commented:

“Imagine the sheer horror on the faces of all the happy families aboard, let’s say, another cruise when they look across the sea and see GWAR decapitating someone on the main deck of a big-ass boat filled with a few thousand crazed metalheads. If there’s any better reason to go on the Headbangers Boat, I can’t think of one…well, that and all our other friends we’ve played shows on land with that will be joining us. It’s gonna be a party for sure – see y’all somewhere in the Atlantic!”

Blythe‘s bandmate Mark Morton added:

“A thrash metal cruise vacation to the Bahamas? Hell yea! Headbangers Boat! We’re stoked about this one y’all! Join us in a celebration of the heavy metal movement that these bands and these fans have been building for the last two decades. Lots of incredible bands with some more surprises announcing soon. LFG!”
