Wage War Release Stripped Down Version Of “Godspeed”


Having previously indulged in a number of ‘stripped down’ takes of their past material, it’s no surprise that that Floridian metalcore act Wage War will join A Day To Remember this fall for an acoustic tour. Newly added to their growing catalog of unplugged material is the below updated version of their 2021 track, “Godspeed“.

The group commented:

“‘Godspeed‘ was one of our favorite songs off of Manic. As soon as we finished in the studio, we knew it need the ‘Stripped’ treatment. We always try to give each song its own unique style. Growing up in the South, the song naturally adopted a country flare. We hope everyone enjoys the first acoustic breakdown — that we know of.”

The band are also planning to compile their various acoustic takes as “The Stripped Collection” in the not too distant future. You can catch the aforementioned acoustic tour at the following stops:
