Dope Premiere “No Respect” Music Video

0

Industrial nü-metal group Dope are back with a NSFW music video for their latest single “No Respect“. The audio of this particular track was previously shared by the band back in July of this year alongside the announcement of their seventh studio album, “Blood Money Part Zer0“. A February 24th release date has been set for that outing with plans to have it available for free digitally.

The video finds stuntman/video game visual effects supervisor Derron Ross in a starring role and was co-directed by Dope mastermind Edsel Dope and Society 1 frontman Matt Zane. Edsel commented:

“It’s funny. Most people watching the video will assume that Derron is playing the role of a villain, but he’s actually playing the hero. The guy that we set on fire was guilty of some deplorable shit. In the end, he got what he deserved.”

Dope will next be out on Static-X‘s ‘Rise Of The Machine Tour‘, which will find the latter celebrating their gold-certified 2001 sophomore album “Machine“. Fear Factory, Mushroomhead and Twiztid will also appear on that bill.
