Watch Footage Of Metallica’s Set In Central Park Last Night, Including Mickey Guyton Guesting On “Nothing Else Matters”

Metallica performed live a Central Park in New York City, NY yesterday, September 24th. The reigning metal champions were onstage as part of this year’s charity-minded Global Citizen festival. The group hit the stage for an eight-song set that included a guest appearance from Mickey Guyton during “Nothing Else Matters“.

That GRAMMY-nominated country music artist previously paid tribute to the band with her cover of the song on last September’s “The Metallica Blacklist” covers album, which saw dozens of guests pay homage to Metallica‘s landmark 16x multi-platinum certified 1991 self-titled album.

Last night’s setlist ran as follows:

Creeping Death
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Enter Sandman
Sad But True
The Unforgiven
Wherever I May Roam
Nothing Else Matters” (feat. Mickey Guyton)
Master Of Puppets

Nearly the entire festival, which also featured sets from Charlie Puth, Mariah Carey, Usher and many more, was professionally filmed and livestreamed and can be rewatched below. While “Nothing Else Matters” was omitted from the livestream, you can watch fan-filmed footage of it being performed below as well.
