Sodom are paying tribute to their late guitarist Uwe Christoffers with a lyric video for the newly re-recorded version of their 1985 track “After The Deluge“. The band went back and revisited 17 songs from their catalog, re-recording them in the studio in celebration of their 40th anniversary. That collection of tracks will emerge on October 28th as “40 Years At War – The Greatest Hell Of Sodom“.
Vocalist/bassist Tom Angelripper commented:
“We dedicate this lyric video to our recently deceased friend and former guitarist Uwe Christoffers. With this fantastic song he wrote for Sodom back in 1985, he stays alive for all eternity. We will forever hold him in our restless and blackened hearts.”
