Light The Torch, the metalcore outfit fronted by ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones, have been forced to withdraw from the upcoming GWAR, Nekrogoblikon & Crobot tour. Additionally the band have cancelled their planned headlining show in Columbus, OH. A statement issued by Light The Torch earlier today (September 07th) outlines their situation, with the band stating that thwy were unable to secure proper transportation for the trek. it reads as follows:
“It’s with great disappointment that we must announce we are pulling off the upcoming fall GWAR tour as well as the one Light The Torch headline show on Sep-17 in Columbus, OH. Since confirming the GWAR tour 2 months ago, we’ve been unable to find an affordable reliable vehicle to tour in, and with the tour starting in just a week we’re at the point where we can’t keep everyone in limbo. It’s such a unique time for touring bands right now with touring essentials in such high demand and low supply, something we’re experiencing first hand.
- Advertisement -We sincerely apologize to the GWAR camp that we couldn’t find a way to make this happen. They have been nothing but accommodating and we know it would’ve been an amazing tour for us to do. We’re truly heartbroken and wish we had better news.
We encourage you all to still check out the tour when it comes to your town, featuring GWAR, Nekrogoblikon and Crobot.
Thanks to all of our fans for your understanding and continued support. We miss being out there and look forward to seeing you all again soon. Until then, stay safe and be well. Love LTT.”
