“Golden” has been unveiled as the fifth advance single from We Came As Romans‘ next studio album, “Darkbloom“. The Michigan-based metalcore unit currently have that record scheduled for an October 14th release via SharpTone. A music video for this new track, which was directed by Orie McGinness (Bad Omens, Wage War), has been rolled out to accompany this latest single and is available for viewing below.
Guitarist Joshua Moore commented of the track:
“‘Golden‘ is a song that’s really close to our hearts. I wrote the verse lyrics about the day that Kyle [Pavone] passed, that morning when we got the call, and the emotion we felt. Kyle was such a bright light in our lives, and it felt like that light was gone without him. This song was about dealing with those feelings and trying to find a way through this new darkness we all felt completely lost in.”
You can also find the group out the road at the moment, opening for Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides and Motionless In White on the current leg of the ‘Trinity Of Terror Tour‘. The remaining dates for that run include:

November 19th will see We Came As Romans, Comeback Kid and SpiritWorld open for The Ghost Inside as part of the latter’s ‘Rebirthday Bash‘ festival. That event will be held at the Brooklyn Bowl with The Ghost Inside due to perform their 2012 album “Get What You Give” in its entirety on that particular date.
