Hoobastank have launched a trailer for an upcoming docuseries celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2001 self-titled major label debut album. That effort would go on to reinvent the band from their earlier Hoobustank days and propel them to mainstream success, achieving platinum status in the United States back in the fall of 2002.
The seven-part series will partially be culled from over 10 hours of previously unseen footage which the group shot around the album’s creation, release and touring. The first episode in the series will launch online next week, with further installments expected to arrive every other week afterwards.
This fall will see the group out co-headlining the ‘Tried-N-True Tour‘ with Lit. Alien Ant Farm and The Ataris vocalist Kristopher Roe will be opening that trek.
