Helmet Have Now Cancelled The Dates From Their Previously Postponed June Tour

Helmet have announced the cancellation of the dates they had originally planned for this past June. The group previously postponed the majority of that run roughly a week into the trek, planning to eventually reschedule it. A statement issued yesterday (August 18th) by the veteran alternative metal band reads as follows:

“This post is in regards to the POSTPONED JUNE HEADLINE DATES ONLY

Disappointing news…..We’ve been trying for a while to re-schedule the US shows cancelled in June due to Covid but it’s still proving logistically impossible. Regrettably we have to cancel the run outright and we ask that any ticket buyers direct requests for refunds to your point of purchase.

Apologies for this, hopefully at some point in 2023 we might make it back into some of these places.
As always, thanks to everybody for your support and patience.”

The dates affected by that cancellation include:

06/08 Harrisburg, VA – XL Live
06/09 Washington, DC – Black Cat
06/10 Richmond, VA – Broadberry
06/11 Kill Devil Hills, NC – OBX
06/12 Norfolk, VA – The NorVa
06/14 Huntington, WV – The Loud
06/16 Cincinnati, OH – Taft
06/17 Columbus, OH – Basement
06/18 Saginaw, MI – The Vault
06/19 Grand Rapids, MI – Intersection
06/21 Indianapolis, IN – HiFi
06/22 Iowa City, IA – Wildwood
