The Halo Effect (Ex-In Flames, Etc.) Debut Music Video For “In Broken Trust”

The Halo Effect released their debut album “Days Of The Lost” today (August 12th) alongside an official music video for their latest single, “In Broken Trust“. The band, who are comprised of a number of veterans from In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, filmed the video on a rooftop in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Vocalist Mikael Stanne commented of it:

“The song is about betrayal. Either to oneself or onto others. The clinical and unaffected truth might be hard to achieve but the further we stray from it the harder everything gets. This turned out to be a huge song and landing on this structure and feel took a few tries but I love how it came out and having this come out as the album drops feels incredible. Enjoy!”

All five of the band’s members have previously spent time in In Flames, with Stanne also notably also being the frontman for Dark Tranquillity. The group’s roster runs as follows:

Vocalist: Mikael Stanne
Guitarist: Jesper Strömblad
Guitarist: Niclas Engelin
Bass: Peter Iwers
Drums: Daniel Svensson
