Several artists involved with the upcoming heavy metal-inspired first-person shooter game ‘Metal: Hellsinger‘ will be joining forces for a live concert at this year’s ‘Gamescom‘ event in Cologne, GER. Among those set to perform their respective songs from the upcoming video game are the following musicians:
- Matt Heafy (Trivium, Ibaraki)
- Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity)
- Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, etc.)
- Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy, etc.)
- James Dorton (Black Crown Initiate, The Faceless)
A trailer for the event, which will be held on August 25th, can be found below. The ‘Metal: Hellsinger‘ soundtrack saw all of the aforementioned musicians partake on new songs written for the game by the composer duo of Two Feathers.
Other participants who also took part in the soundtrack include Lamb Of God‘s Randy Blythe, Soilwork‘s Björn “Speed” Strid and Jinjer‘s Tatiana Shmailyuk. A demo for the game is now available across multiple platforms, while the finished product will see a September 15th release date on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S platforms.
