Platinum-certified Virginian groove metallers Lamb Of God have seen fit to debut a music video that was co-directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts for the title track to their next studio album, “Omens“. It’s the second single to see a release from the effort, following last month’s “Nevermore“.
Vocalist Randy Blythe had the following to say about this latest track:
“I think a lot of the messes human beings find ourselves in could be very easily prevented simply by paying attention to obvious repeating patterns, both in our personal lives and in a broader sociohistorical context. What some call ‘omens’ are really just manifestations of the fact that there is nothing new under the sun. It’s foolish to ignore this, but we all do it.”
A number of special guests helped out with the gang vocals on this new cut, among them were Ernie C and Juan Garcia of Body Count, Toby Morse of H2O, Sara Taylor of Youth Code and Wesley Eisold of Cold Cave/American Nightmare.
“Omens will see a release on October 07th via Epic Records. The band will be headlining the following tour in support of it this fall:
