Ahead of tomorrow’s (July 29th) release of their brand new album “Jackpot Juicer“, Sacramento, CA-based post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance have dropped a video directed by Christian Lawrence for their single, “Feels Bad Man“.
Drummer Matt Mingus said of the track:
“Our new song ‘Feels Bad Man‘ is one of the most unique Dance Gavin Dance tracks off of ‘Jackpot Juicer‘. The instruments for this song were heavily influenced by the current tone of today’s popular songs mixed with some DGD flair. The music video is
reminiscent of the 90’s era when we were all coming of age. We as a band have never taken ourselves too seriously and try to reflect that in all our music videos, including this one. Hope you all enjoy.”
The group are currently out on a headlining run the promote the album with Royal Coda and Body Thief in tow. Dance Gavin Dance have reconfigured their touring lineup in the wake of clean vocalist Tilian Pearson stepping down following a pair of sexual misconduct allegations. Guitarist Andrew Wells has since taken over Pearson‘s vocal duties, while Veil Of Maya‘s Marc Okubo has taken over Wells‘ guitar parts.
