Former Megadeth members, bassist/vocalist David Ellefson and guitarist Jeff Young, will be uniting as the Kings Of Thrash for an upcoming run of shows dubbed ‘The MEGA Years Tour‘. Fellow Megadeth veteran Chris Poland will be taking part in this forthcoming trek.
Guitarist/vocalist Chaz Leon and drummer Fred Aching will also be joining Ellefson and Young on the run, which will find the outfit covering Megadeth‘s 1985 debut album “Killing Is My Business… And Business Is Good!” and their third studio album, 1988’s “So Far, So Good… So What!“, in full at each show.
10/12 San Diego, CA – Brick by Brick
10/13 Phoenix, AZ – Crescent Ballroom
10/14 Las Vegas, NV – The Space
10/15 West Hollywood, CA – The Whisky a Go-Go
Tickets for the dates will go on sale this Friday, July 29. Ellefson was fired from Megadeth last year following his sex video scandal. Young performed with the band from 1987-1989, replacing Chris Poland, who himself partook in multiple stints with the group, last appearing as a session member in 2004.
