It would seem that Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson has gone above and beyond with his attire refresh for the band’s latest album cycle. Rather than shelving his previous mask, #0 has repurposed it as an animatronic head which sings along to the group’s songs amid their live sets. Video footage of that has been shared by the band below.
Not visible in that video however are the mechanical hands which Wilson also apparently had constructed for the band’s latest output. A good shot of them can be found in the mutli-platinum group’s recent Kerrang! cover story.
Currently the masked metal marauders are touring across Europe and the UK and are gearing up to release their seventh studio album, “The End, So Far“, on September 30th. A second single from it, “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)“, was recently released online here.
