Last summer saw the debut of HBO‘s documentary on the infamous 1999 edition of the ‘Woodstock Festival‘. That film, titled, ‘Woodstock ‘99: Peace, Love, and Rage‘, shone a light on the poor planning, greed, inhospitable weather and even a few of raucous sets by some of the musical artists, which culminated in the festival ultimately ending in a string of sexual assaults, rioting and arson.
That festival will next be the subject of an upcoming Netflix docuseries titled ‘Clusterf**k: Woodstock ’99‘. While performances from the likes of Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Megadeth and Sevendust added some testosterone to the festival, it was Limp Bizkit‘s rowdy set and Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ fiery closing performance that are often cited as the most problematic of the artists who took to the stage at the fest.
As you can see in the below trailer, Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis is among those to participate in the doc, which will premiere on the streaming service on August 03rd.
