Alice In Chains‘ landmark 1992 sophomore album “Dirt” will offically turn 30th on September 29th. That highly influential record cemented the grunge legends fame and remains their highest selling record to date, having attained 4x multi-platinum status in the United States alone.
30th anniversary plans for the record have just commenced with word that the album cover and the band’s lineup in all of their “Dirt“-era glory, including late vocalist/guitarist Layne Staley, will soon be available in Funko Pop! form. The 23″ wide expanded set will arrive via Funko‘s ‘Pop! Albums‘ line and is available to pre-order ahead of its November 30th release date via GameStop.
You can also catch Alice In Chains out live this summer as part of a co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin. Bush will be joining that trek as direct support, with The L.I.F.E. Project (who feature Josh Rand of Stone Sour), Thunderpussy and Plush splitting the opening duties.
