A pair of Puscifer tracks have newly been re-imagined by a familiar pair of musicians. Billy Howerdel and James Iha (also of The Smashing Pumpkins), both of whom perform with Puscifer vocalist Maynard James Keenan in the multi-platinum alternative metal band A Perfect Circle, have taken on “Bullet Train To Iowa” and “The Underwhelming” respectively. Those re-imagined versions have been released as a new two-song single, which you can pick up here as a limited edition 7″.
Mat Mitchell, who overseas the production duties and several instrumental roles in Puscifer, had the following to say of these tracks, “It’s always a pleasure hearing other artists’ voices over what we’ve created. I love these remixes.”
