Dropout Kings have digitally released a remix of their signature track “GlitchGang” online. Appearing on this updated take on the track are members of (hed)p.e., Crazy Town and Twiztid. This remix is part of a recent split EP Dropout Kings did with (hed)p.e. by the name of “The Last One’s Standing“.
Co-vocalist Adam Ramey commented:
“When we came up with the idea to remix ‘GlitchGang‘ we thought it would be cool to bring together the old school and new school of nu metal on one track. We’ve become like brothers with the guys in (Hed) P.E since we toured with them last year, Crazy Town took us out on one of our first national tours back in the day, and then the guys in Twiztid introduced us to their rabid fanbase inviting us to play shows together. It all sort of comes back around full circle and those guys all killed it on the track.”
In other news, Dropout Kings recently went toe to toe online with Lil Xan earlier this week after Xan decided to withdraw from the headlining slot of a tour they had booked together. His decision to walk out took place hours before the trek was set to kick off.
Expectedly, some back and forth took place on social media, with Dropout Kings offering:
“Lil Xan dropped off our tour after everyone already left cross country. Didn’t show up for his set at So What [festival]. We’re rebooking this entire tour stay tuned. Please bear with us. Also fuck Lil Xan 🙏”
Xan fired back, offering:
“S/o Dropout Kings, have a great ‘fuck lil xan tour’ ☺️ i know you guys are new to this and im pretty sure you should talk with your booking agent Ashley on how bad she fucked the tour up for me and my team! But have fun on the tour fellaz 😂 my next tour is for my fans only not yours 🤍 wanna give them better openers and more Xanarchy 💔 On top of that i just got out of rehab 2/3 months ago and wanna stay focused on my sobriety and a tour might damage that! but no yall team didn’t care as long as they made their money”
