Foo Fighters Cancel All Upcoming Live Appearances Following Taylor Hawkins’ Passing


The Foo Fighters have cancelled all of their upcoming tour dates following the passing of their drummer/vocalist Taylor Hawkins this past Friday, March 25th. A statement issued by the band today (March 29th) reads:

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.

The 50-year-old Hawkins passed away at a hotel he was staying at in Bogotá, Colombia ahead of a show the band were due to play at that night. The investigation into his cause of death continues.
